In providing its comprehensive services Sysformance AG makes large scale use of open technology and open-source operating systems.

The larger part of our servers and sensors are based on PC server hardware. We use Debian GNU/Linux, FreeBSD and SuSE Linux as operating systems and in addition data bank software from Oracle and the free DBMS PostgreSQL.

The software for the veralyse services is almost exclusively written in the Java programming language. On the other hand the essential parts of the Nettraffic system are written in GNU C++ (sensor) and PHP (web interface).
